Home Repair Services for Eligible Fairfield Residents (October 2019)
Did you know that the Office of Community and Economic Development (OCED) offers eligible Fairfield residents a program to provide financial assistance for various types of home maintenance expenses? Fairfield Senior Advocates hopes that seniors will consider these service to help them stay at home comfortably.
The Homeowner's Assistance program can help eligible homeowners with Handyman Repair, including Lead Paint Abatement and a residential rehabilitation program.
Check out the Handyman Services Program, which pays the labor costs only associated with small maintenance projects. The client is responsible for materials.
Also, check out the Single Family Home Rehab Program. This program is also funded by the OCED, and provides income-eligible Fairfield homeowners with special, interest-free loans to perform needed improvements and repairs to their primary residence.
